Put the Fruit Together is a Suika merge game. In a sunny fantasy world with big puffy clouds and green hills, the player drops magical anthropomorphic fruit into a clear container placed in front of a wood-framed green chalkboard. Their main goal is to merge the fruits to evolve the items into ever-bigger fruits until they create a whole watermelon.
The player initially receives cherries and strawberries. Over time, they evolve these fruits into lemons, green apples, oranges, bananas, plums and other types. The game provides no timer. Instead, the player must merely prevent the items from piling up to the top of the container.
Put the Fruit Together provides the player with the option to create a vertical dashed aiming line to direct each drop. That said, the force of a merge causes the fruit to bounce or flip into the air and come down anywhere within the container.
Typically, a new fruit created by a merge flips left or right over another fruit and then settles. As a result, the player can have difficulty anticipating the new fruit's drop spot.
The game doesn't provide a fruit preview, shake option or evolution booster. Instead, the player only receives a black skull bomb to blow away a large group of fruits if they earn 5,000 gold star coins.
