Guess the Flag is a matching, multiple-choice game that requires the player to match vibrant pictures of flags with the names of countries from around the world across three modes (Streak, 60 Sec and Learn). The player's primary goals are to make correct guesses and earn the highest score possible. Two of the modes present additional challenges.
The player can select any mode at any time. They don't need to unlock a mode to play another one. They also don't need to use any coins or other payment to access a mode. The Learn mode is a tutorial. That said, the game features extremely simple interactions with the screen and rules in the other two modes.
In all modes, the player receives a flag and three country buttons. Above the buttons, a round-cornered horizontal white timer bar with green fill starts to lose color. The player selects the button that they believe matches the flag. If they guess correctly, their selection turns green, and the next flag and choices appear on the screen.
In the Streak mode, the selected button turns red and the game ends if the player guesses incorrectly. Streak is an endless play mode. It requires that they always guess the right answer. In 60 Sec mode, continuous correct guesses don't matter. Instead, the player must make as many correct guesses as possible before a 60-second timer at the upper-left corner counts down to zero.
Guess the Flag displays the current score at the top center of the play screen for each mode. It displays that last-best score next to a crown icon at or just below the upper-left corner.
