USA Flags, also known as Flags Of The USA, is a timed matching game that tasks a player with matching a state of the United States of America with its flag. It gives the player only a few seconds to find the correct state flag of three flags displayed on the screen. It's a semi-runner game in the sense that it continues to move from state to state and flag to flag without any sort of pause unless the player physically selects a pause button.
The game displays the three horizontal flags stacked on top of each other horizontally below the words "Find the flag of" and the name of a state. At the center-top of the screen, a timer quickly decreases by milliseconds. The player must find the correct flag before time runs out or risk failing the level. When they find it, the game blocks out the incorrect flags with red rectangles, borders the correct flag with a green frame, and reveals a positive motivational message on the timer bar.
That said, the game penalizes the player for failing to find the flag in time or for picking the wrong flag. It uses the timer bar to make a negative statement about the result and doesn't count that level toward the total.
USA Flags only features 50 levels. It doesn't display the flags of the federal district city of Washington, D.C., or any territories or islands controlled by the U.S.
