Brain Teaser is a mindbender game that has a quiz-style format. Each level features a brain-teaser question. The player must select the correct answer to unlock the next level.
The player doesn't only need to select an answer from multiple choice options or pictures on the screen. Any part of the screen might contain the answer. For example, if asked to select the darkest color, they might think that their only options are on the grid in the answer area. This isn't the case. They can select any color on the screen.
In Brain Teaser, the player can also interact with some objects in ways beyond selecting them as answers. For example, they might need to increase the size of an object by merging it with other objects on the screen. Sometimes the answer comes from a play on words. When asked to select the largest or tallest object, they might select the wrong answer if they take the request at face value. An object might be small or short on the screen, but large or tall in real life.
The player also rececives a supply of 20 keys that they can use to pay for hints or to skip any difficult level. If they run out of keys, they must start over the game. When the player does well, they receive a positive message along with hand clapping and cheering from an unseen crowd.
