Dynamons 7 is a new adventure in the Dynamons monster-trainer, battle-arena series in which the player captures and trains wild and domesticated monsters called Dynamons to eventually build a strong enough team for them to become known as an elite Dynamons Captain. The player visits the Tall Pines region, where the ever-helpful Jovani provides mentorship as they test and hone their skills.
After the player claims their first Dynamon, they wait for the game to place a green ring under it during a turn-based battle, and then direct it to fight an opponent's monster using slash, magic, healing and overhead strike actions with cards, items and mystery weapon canisters. To grow their team, they use the More (+) button and the Catch disc icon to collect weakened wild or opponent Dynamons.�During a battle, they can swap between the Dynamons using the same button.
Dynamons 7 rewards the player with gem shards and coins. They use the shards to level up one or more monsters. They might receive a special skill for a Dynamon at the same time. They use the coins to purchase items from the game Shop. They also use the Shop to gain access to free gem shards, coins, items and exclusive Dynamons via ad views.�
The player tracks their progress to the finish at the upper-left corner and their current number of shards and coins at the upper-right corner. They can access their items or team at any time with icons at the lower-right corner.
