Tripeaks Solitaire Holiday is a vacation-themed version of classic Tri Peaks Solitaire. Its home screen features a cruise ship docked in the waters of a city near red-and-white lifebuoy rings that represent each level in a long canal that winds through the region.
The player removes the cards that float face-down and face-up above blue waves on each level to earn points and stars and unlock new levels. If they perform this task quickly without using all the draw cards, they receive three stars per level. They start with a face-up card next to the layered horizontal face-down draw cards. They must attempt to find the next card that's higher or lower in a standard sequence of playing cards. For example, if they receive a Q draw card, they need to find a face-up K or J.
If the player can't find the card, they can either select face-down draw cards until they find it or use a Joker as a replacement. They receive more draw cards every time they successfully pick five floating cards in a row without using the draw cards.
Tripeaks Solitaire Holiday helps the player by revealing the next possible card with a zoom effect or a flashing down arrow. It also provides an undo button. That said, the player must watch ads to use it or the Joker button after the first free usage.
The player receives points for every card they remove from the playfield. After they clear away the cards, they receive extra stars for every unused draw card.
