Vex Challenges is another game in the popular stickman dungeon-crawl platformers known as Vex games. A player helps a stickman traverse deadline platforms to achieve a specific goal. In this game, the player must help the stickman collect three blue stars floating in the air at different spots in each level.
As with the other games, the levels feature deadly obstacles and various challenges. The player might need to direct the stickman to jump over sharp unmoving red spikes, bouncing or rotating red saw blades, randomly dropping purple platform boxes and other threats. That said, the game shows all of the threats to the player in a picture before they start a level.
Yet, each level features a 10-second timer. The player loses if they fail to reach a green portal at the end of the level because time ran out. They also fail if the stickman comes into contact with a deadly obstacle. Of course, the game provides them with plenty of help. For example, it gives the stickman a power boost with a simple key press instead of boosters or powerups.
Vex Challenges also unlocks the next level of the 75 available levels and allows the player to continue even if they fail to collect all of the blue stars. They can earn additional free blue stars by watching advertisements. They then use the stars to upgrade the stickman.
