Royal Ranch Merge & Collect is a farm-management game with crafting and merging elements. It tasks a player with improving the appearance of a garden at the Royal Ranch with new plants by merging items generated by a magic tent and blue lightning bolts of energy.
The player starts with two sprouts that they can merge together to create a seedling. When they create another seedling and merge it with the first one, they create a clover plant. They must then create a second clover plant and merge the two matching items to create a chamomile plant. They can merge matching plants to create a wide variety of new plants, including flowering violet, hibiscus and rose plants. The garden above the two-tone green checkboard playfield updates whenever the player creates a new plant.
The game features 23 group collections containing similar merged items. For example, sprouts, seedlings and clover belong in one group. The game also features groups of coins, seals, energies, crystals and treasure chests. The player receives some items as rewards, such as gifts and treasure chests. Ad-supported boosters are also available.
Royal Ranch Merge & Collect offers quests and upgrades as well. The former rewards the player after they create new items. The latter allows them to upgrade the magic tent and other capabilities with their in-game currency.
