Tri Peaks Solitaire Classic is an online version of Tri Peaks Solitaire that features classic elements and music, including face-down standard playing cards arranged in three peaks, a row of face-up cards, and a row of layered draw-pile face-down cards with a single face-up card. Each card front displays an enlarged red or black suit icon with a single number or letter at the top-left corner. The card backs display light gray fleur-de-lis and other ornate details on a dark gray background. The game's lone wild card displays a white-and-black jester hat against a red background.
The player's primary goal is to earn as many points as possible while removing all cards from the table. They also attempt to win up to three gold stars. They win bonus points for specific actions, such as not using the wild card. When they achieve these goals, they can move on to the next level of play. If they fail at any time, they must start the entire game over again with the first level.
Tri Peaks Solitaire Classic requires the player to use high-low rules. The player must find a card on the field that is the next high or low card in relation to the face-up card below the field. If the pile features an Ace (A), for example, the player must find a 2 or a King (K). If they can't find a face-up card, they must select one of the draw cards or the wild card. They can use the latter to replace any card. If the field features a face-up 6, the player can use the wild card in place of a 5 or 7.
