Coloring by Numbers: Pixel House is a coloring game with a renovation element. The player must color pixelated images of various objects to turn empty spaces into welcoming homes, cities and even ships level by level.
The player must use a number guide to color each image of an object. Although they can access most objects freely, they must pay 100 coins to unlock some as well. Levels can have more than 50 images to complete. They start with objects for the Japanese House. Once they complete that level and earn enough coins, they unlock the next space.
On the object image screen, they zoom in and use palette colors to essentially paint by number. They can paint faster by using bomb and paint bucket boosters. The bomb paints a large blast area with multiple colors. The paint bucket paints all pixel of the same number with a matching color. A lightbulb button provides coloring hints.
Coloring by Numbers: Pixel House allows the player to increase their coin winnings by watching an ad. They also receive a daily reward of coins. Their colored object is added to the house. Every time the player completes a coloring by numbers task, the colored object appears somewhere in the house scene. To build more land by adding objects, they must color more objects.
