Ragdoll Mega Dunk is a sports game based on basketball that uses ragdoll physics with extreme play. The player directs a basketball player or other character to perform stunts that involve slam-dunking both a ball and the character through a basketball ring and net.
The player starts with a character referred to as Pro Guy, who wears a basketball team outfit. Once they earn enough cash from their mega dunking attempts or watch enough ad videos, they can upgrade this character to one of nine options that include a classic ragdoll crash test dummy, a spooky skeleton and a human wearing a mascot uniform.
If the player directs the character to perform a perfect jump, the character flies through the air and then rolls or curls inward physically while falling through the basket. To make play more difficult, the game changes the positions of the basket and the character in terms of height and distance from level to level.
Ragdoll Mega Dunk provides a panel of four suit-wearing judges at a table. If the player and their avatar receive a high score, the player earns the highest possible cash amount. They can earn an even higher amount by watching an ad video. Their actions also partially unlock one of the other characters.
