World Battle of the Future is a fighting game in which a player must use a variety of strategies to protect their base in a post-apocalyptic landscape from enemy combatants trying to steal resources and take control of the world. The game is divided into two modes (Campaign and Survival). With Campaign mode, the player completes missions. With Survival mode, they must survive as long as possible.
The player selects one of the modes and then improves their base operations and defense through mining, fighting, making purchases, accepting gifts and watching advertisements. They must bring out miners to collect crystals in front of the base. During a battle, they can send soldiers into the field or defend within or in front of the base. For example, they can use the shield icon to retreat to the base or take up an outdoor defensive position after a retreat into the base.
The player receives opportunities to obtain an extensive inventory of critical tools that help them, including options to mine two times for 30 seconds, bomb an enemy territory for five seconds, attack a single target with missiles for five seconds, block all enemy damage for 10 seconds, call in an allied army and call in an overpowered robot. The game even offers an option to heal all soldiers.
