Merge Army is a semi-idle, battle-arena game that features merge and clicker elements. Two armies, blue and red, meet on a checkerboard battlefield. A player arranges the fighters and units for their army before the battle by combining two of the same type of fighter or unit on squares to create a larger, stronger type of fighter and expanded army.
The player might fight with centurions, knights, clowns, giants or catapults and swords, javelins, bombs and other weapons. Once they arrange the fighters and units, they don't need to do anything else. The armies battle without any need for direct intervention.
The player does receive access to one type of manual attack. They can drop a fireball on the enemy every few seconds. That said, they can't choose the exact location of each hit.
Merge Army provides the player with coins as winnings and income. They use the money to prompt the game to randomly provide them with new fighters and power. They can also increase their funds by gaining access to high-level multipliers when they watch advertisements.
How to play:
Look for pairs of matching fighters and units, as indicated by lights that appear above and around them, and then merge them. To bank coins, click the income button repeatedly. Use the coins to increase the army's size. Whenever possible, drop fireballs on the battlefield.
Controls:
Mouse: To merge two identical fighters or units, position the cursor above the first one, press the left button, drag it to overlap its match, and then release the button. To buy fighters/units, add new associated squares or drop a fireball, click buttons.
Mobile: To perform merges, position the cursor above the first fighter/unit, press the surface of the screen or trackpad, slide it to overlap its match, and then stop pressing the surface. Tap all buttons to use them.
