After defeating a group of monsters, it appears as though the coast is clear. However, there are more slime monsters that are lurking about at the gates to try to prevent players from getting to the kingdom. The king is waiting to be saved from the monsters, and players have to use their wits to try to beat the levels in the game to advance in order to get closer to the tower.
Music in the game sounds as though it's from the Renaissance era. There is a good tutorial at the beginning that details how to move around and what each control does in the game. The graphics are reminiscent of classic video game systems from the 1980s. Upgrades are available throughout the game to get more weapons and unlock different towers. The game can be difficult to figure out at first as it's really not clear what players are supposed to do with the fireball. There are flags in each level where different weapons are set up that will launch once they are built and that will attack the slime monsters as they are trying to get to the tower. Click on the skull and the weapons in order to get coins that can be used to rebuild the weapons when they run out of ammunition. Each level progressively becomes harder as the monsters move faster.
