Bus Driver Simulator is a realistic, bus-driving simulation game that features a timed racing element. A player, via one of five male avatars, races a bus to a finish line at the end of a busy highway in one of two modes (Campaign Mode and Multiplayer Mode).
The roads are filled with a wide range of obstacles, including side guardrails, construction and traffic from buses, cars, trucks, police cruisers and various other non-commercial and commercial vehicles. The player must also deal with environmental obstacles, such as sharp curves and hilly areas.
The player can beat the clock or other players using a variety of techniques. They might simply start the race by speeding and then merely navigate around obstacles. They might attempt to crash into and drive over other vehicles, which works sometimes. If they're willing to watch an advertisement, they can start the race with nitro that gives them a speed advantage.
Since winning is the only goal, the player should use any tactic. Bus Driver Simulator awards champions well. Campaign Mode races offer money prizes and unlock levels. Multiplayer Mode races offer bigger purses. The player uses the winnings to upgrade to a bus that offers them better acceleration, speed, handling and strength. Other buses also have better color schemes.
