Kingdom Match is a match-3 game. The player receives item-matching quests from a king who needs help with decorating the interior of a castle. When they collect enough of the stone items needed to complete a quest before running out of moves, such as stone banners, books, clovers, crowns and shields, they earn stars and coins that they can use to make the king's castle a luxurious home.
The player can only collect items by matching three or more items in a connected line on a column, row or square. They can also collect items individually and in groups of non-matching items with special items and boosters. Special items include a fan that flies to any square, rockets that remove items from columns and rows, and bombs that take out square blast areas. They can even a super item that removes all items of the same type at once. Boosters include a wand that removes a stone item from any cell, a cup that gathers all stones of one kind, a mitten that removes stones from any 3x3 field, and a bow that removes all stones on a line.
Kingdom Match allows the player to double their winnings by viewing videos. It also gives them additional coins for completing daily and weekly goals. When they reach specific achievement goals, they receive medals. Ruby currency becomes available when the player views videos.
