Dynamons 6, the sixth installment of the popular Dynamons turn-based battle-arena fighting series, places the player and their avatar in a new training landscape called The Castle. Local guide Jovani helps them train tame and wild monsters that have unique skills to create a fighting team and eventually become a Dynamon Captain.
With Jovani's guidance, the player acquires their first Dynamon. During a one-on-one fight, a green ring appears beneath a Dynamon to indicate the turn. The player uses skill cards to perform specific physical and elemental hits. The player catches weakened Dynamons by using a floppy-style disc known as a discatch. During battles, they swap Dynamons to make fighting a difficult opponent easier and build up each creature's XP and skills.
Dynamons 6 uses many of the same interface elements as the previous games. The player directs their avatar to walk along dotted paths around a world map into battle and training arenas marked with red exclamation marks.
After a win, the player receives a various rewards, including gem shards to buy Dynamon level-ups and gold coins to buy new items like level-up snacks, mystery grab can skills that produce massive elemental attacks, and healing sprays and antidotes. The game also features an advertisement earning system that allows the player to earn new items by watching ads.
