Block Puzzle Ocean is a block puzzle game with an underwater theme. The main game screen features an 8x8 board with an ocean scene of jellyfish, starfish, coral, seaweed and rocks as the backdrop.
The player creates horizontal and vertical lines on the board using a wide variety of polyomino shapes made of small, jewel-colored blocks with gold borders. The game automatically removes the lines and rewards points to the player. The player attempts to earn the highest possible score per game. The top-right points area displays the last-best score. The points area to the right of it displays the current score.
In Block Puzzle Ocean, the player earns more points by removing more than one line at a time. They align the block shapes on the board to create multiple partial lines. When they have enough shapes and blocks in place, they attempt to complete the lines with a single polyomino shape. If they're successful, the game praises them, and they receive the higher combination points.
How to play:
Review the available shapes below the board. Transfer each shape to it to create partial lines. Whenever possible, wait to complete the lines until the placement of one shape can create a combination move worth more points. Continue creating lines until no more moves remain on the board. After a loss, try to beat the last-best score.
Controls:
Mouse: Click UI elements. To transfer a shape to the board, position the cursor above it, press the left mouse button, slide the shape to a spot on the board, and then release the button.
Mobile: Tap UI elements. To transfer a shape to the board, position the cursor, press against the touch screen or pad surface, slide it to a spot on the board, and then stop pressing the surface.
