Dinosaurs Merge Master is a merge-style fighting game with prehistoric and historic themes. A player merges pairs of the same type of character or dinosaur to create even more powerful figures. Gameplay occurs across many levels and environments, including a forested area, a barren desert, a snowscape and an underground crystal cave.
The player starts by merging two dinosaurs and using the Start Fight button to begin a battle. If they win, they receive gold coins that they can use to buy characters and dinosaurs to add to a checkerboard battlefield. They start with a young prehistoric woman who throws stones and a green velociraptor that attacks with claws.
Eventually, their merging creates more powerful female and male characters and dinosaurs. For example, they generate humans who use spears, boomerangs, maces, bows and other weapons. The player merges fighters until they create a wave for the next battle that's fully capable of depleting the health of all opponents before their enemies can do the same to them.
Dinosaurs Merge Master helps the player improve their gameplay. It provides horizontal health meters for individual troops and a blue vertical health gauge for the entire unit. It multiplies winnings if the player watches an advertisement. It also features an idle coin-generation feature. The player collects the coins now and then from a treasure chest. The player can also send more fighters to the battlefield when they run out of money by watching ads. Lastly, the game features a tool with a lightning bolt that speeds up a battle to save time.
