Block Puzzle Adventure is a block-puzzle game. It tasks a player with removing lines of wooden tile-style blocks on a 10x10 board by building rows and columns with polyomino shapes. The player's objective depends on the game mode (Standard, Adventure and Daily Challenge).
With Standard mode, the player completes missions. For example, they might need to reach a specific score. In Adventure mode, they collect gemstones and complete other tasks across dozens of levels. Lastly, in Daily Challenge mode, they complete a challenge for a specific day.
When attempting to earn the most points, the player must partially create multiple lines and then complete a block of lines using a single shape. The lines from the combo move turn rainbow colors before they disappear. If the player runs out of space, all the wooden blocks turn gray and silver, and the game ends. That said, they receive a second chance if they watch an ad.
Block Puzzle Adventure also offers a solitaire card-game component known as a free cell. With this tool, the player can transfer a shape they temporarily can't use into an empty square below the board until they're ready to use it. They then receive access to three new forms if they become stuck with one shape that doesn't fit anywhere on the grid.
