Tetrolapse
Block
Tetrollapse is a block-puzzle game that features Tetris elements. Yet, unlike that popular classic game, it doesn't require the player to create and remove lines until they run out of space on the board.
The player rotates and positions red polyomino shapes made of square blocks to create 10-block horizontal lines. The game then removes every completed line. Other colorful non-red shapes, both polyomino and non-polyomino, exist on the board. The player's primary goal is to clear these shapes from the board by completing the 10-block lines.
When the player successfully removes all blocks associated with these shapes, they can move on to the next level of the game. If they allow the red shapes to pile up to the top of the board, they lose and must restart.
Tetrollapse Light displays the next polyomino shape on the left sidebar, along with the score, number of completed lines, and level number.
How to play:
Review the positions of the non-red shapes and the number of blocks within each one. Rotate and position the first red polyomino shape. Check the sidebar to preview the next shape. Continue placing polyomino shapes to create lines around the non-red shapes and blocks. When the non-red shapes disappear, start the next level and perform the same shape rotation and placement processes.
Controls:
Keyboard: Tetrollapse Light requires a keyboard. To rotate a polyomino shape, use the Up Arrow key. To position the shape to the left or right, use the Left Arrow or Right Arrow keys. To speed up the shape's drop, use the Down Arrow key.
