Digitis is a block-puzzle matching game with brick-breaking elements similar to Tetris. The player's goal is to position blocks to create clusters that break and disappear from the playfield. They can play levels or an endless mode.
The blocks drop two at a time in a group from the top of the field automatically. Each block displays a number. The player must reposition a block set to align the individual blocks in the most optimal way to create a cluster. The game only removes blocks in a cluster of matching numbers.
The player attempts to arrange a block set in an up-or-down and left-or-right direction, with at least one side touching another block from a different set that displays the same number. The size of the cluster depends on the number displayed on the blocks. For example, if the player wants to make a cluster of 2 blocks, they only need to group two blocks in the cluster. If they want to make a cluster of 3 blocks, they only need to group three.
When the player performs this task correctly, the game destroys all adjacent blocks and rewards points based on the number value on the blocks.�
Digitis also features a semi-helpful tool known as a Zero Bomb. At the start of levels play, the player receives three of these bombs. They can use the bombs to make room for block sets by destroying all blocks within one cell diagonally and two cells in a straight line inside a bomb's blast zone. That said, they receive no points for blocks removed using this method.
