Funny Cubes 2048 is a 2048 merge game that features a unique premise. Against an outdoor backdrop, a machine made of a steel beam and a yellow claw slides round-cornered cubes left and right across the top of the screen above a merge field. The player sees the movement from the side. Their goal is to drop cubes into positions on the field in optimal ways that allow pairs of cubes to merge until they create a 2048 cube.�
The player must have excellent timing and a bit of luck to make this work. They can only merge matching cubes, such as two 2 cubes or two 4 cubes. When they complete a merge, they create a higher-numbered cube that comes from the sum of the merged cubes.�
Funny Cubes 2048 makes merging difficult by making cubes bounce and running the claw back and forth at a high speed. The player might find it hard to anticipate the exact right moment to initiate a drop. The merged cubes also create an explosive force that makes a new, higher-numbered cube and any nearby cubes bounce or slide.�
That said, the game helps the player by allowing them to use boosters (i.e., bombs, hammers and ropes). For example, a bomb removes one or more unwanted cubes from the field that block potential merge opportunities. Merge explosions and bombs can also push cubes into other cubes, which can help the player when they're attempting to move two matching cubes closer together.�
The player wins boosters as daily or ad-view rewards or creates new ones. They can also win new cube skins that include animal heads and fruit slices after they create specific, higher-numbered cubes.
