2048 Colored Balls is a 2048 merge game that features balls instead of tiles, squares or cubes. The player's goal is to merge colored balls that display numbers in matching pairs to create higher-numbered balls. Their goals are to eventually create a 2048 ball and earn the highest score possible while attempting their task.
The player drops each ball into a narrow container. The balls sometimes act like real-world balls. As a result, the game often makes it difficult for the player to complete merges with drops. On one hand, the player might drop a ball onto a non-matching ball without either ball moving at all. On the other hand, one or both balls might bounce and roll around.
When the player completes a merge successfully, 2048 Colored Balls bursts the pair to create the new ball. The game does more than explode confetti onto the screen after a merge. It also creates a slight explosive force that can make other balls roll in different directions.
If the player allows the balls to pile up to the top of the container enough to cross the horizontal dashed line, they lose the game.
