Sushi Drop is a 2048-style, number-merging, puzzle game with a Sushi restaurant theme. A player must fulfill customer orders by merging pieces of sushi based on type and number. With each merge of two of the same type of sushi, they create new types until they complete a customer's request.
A sushi piece drops slowly from the top of the board down one of five columns. The player can allow it to drop in its current column or move it to another column. For example, they might transfer a "4" to a column with another "4" to make an "8" type of sushi. Once they create a type that displays the number on the customer's plate, they win the level and receive coins. They're also given an opportunity to increase the amount of coins with a multiplier by watching an advertisement.
Sushi Drop makes completing the order easier by providing boosters, including a blender icon to shuffle all sushi pieces on the board and a bomb icon to remove all of the same type from the board when one or more pieces are in the way. The player can win or buy boosters. They also receive boosters or coins via a daily reward. Lastly, the player can hire a new chef with their coins.
