Block Color: Puzzle Blast is a casual block-puzzle game that requires that a player to create 10-block lines as rows and columns on a dark blue, grid-style 10x10 board for as long as possible. The player's primary goal is to earn a score that ranks high enough for them to receive recognition on a leaderboard of top worldwide players.
The player starts by logging in with an account or registering a nickname. On the home screen, they can go to the board screen immediately, access a settings menu to turn off the music and overall sound, and review the leaderboard. On the board screen, the player can review their best score on the top-center golden crown bar and their score for the game on a black bar. They can restart the game at any time by using the semi-circular back arrow at the upper-right corner.
A game starts with the player receiving three polyomino shapes made of small blocks below the board. They drag and drop the shapes onto the board to create the lines. Unlike many similar games, they don't need to use all shapes before receiving more. After they use one, they receive another. They receive rewards for every shape they place and one or more lines. They also receive a bonus for any combinations of two or more rows that they complete with one move.
With Block Color: Puzzle Blast, a person can also play without worrying about the leaderboard. They merely don't log in or register a nickname. They play against their own scores without comparison to others.
