Daily Word Search is a word-puzzle game. The player's only goal is to find words as quickly as possible across one of two modes of play (Today's and Random) and three difficulty levels (Easy, Medium and Hard).
The game displays a board with white letters against a dark purple background and a list of words. The player must find all the words on the list quickly enough to earn a best-time bonus. They select a word by dragging the cursor along the letters, starting with the beginning or end of the word. They know when the selection works because the game highlights the letters with a white, round-ended bar. When they complete the highlighting process, the bar transforms into purple rings positioned around each letter.
Daily Word Search provides two helpful tools. If the player wants to reveal a letter by enclosing it with a narrow yellow ring, they use the green Reveal Letter button on the right side. Every time they use this option, the game ads 10 seconds to their time. That said, they can use it as many times as they want to reveal letters. If they want to reveal an entire word, they must watch an advertising video.
