New Daily Sudoku is an online version of the offline, logic-based, number-placement game Sudoku. It's an offshoot of similar number games that became popular in newspapers in the 19th century. The main difference is that it allows the player to play the game for a specific day online and use an in-game calendar to play games from previous days.
With this version of Daily Sudoku, a player can choose between Easy, Medium and Hard puzzles. Every puzzle has a similar playfield that features a 9x9 grid that contains 3x3 subgrids or cells made up of 9 partially empty boxes. The player's objective is to fill the empty spots with numbers between 1 and 9 from a keypad to the right of the grid so that each 3x3 area contains only one of each number in a pattern that doesn't appear anywhere else on the other subgrids.
New Daily Sudoku provides the player with a lot of hints to help them solve the grid. They merely need to use the button marked with a lightbulb icon. If they want to test and remove various options, they can use the button marked with a pen. If they use the button marked with a magic wand, they can see possible answers for the entire 9x9 grid.
