Circus Words is a fun and challenging game. It is a very good game for practicing word skills. Circus Words is very similar to Scrabble. However, instead of using each letter once, I can use each letter numerous times (only once per word). For example, the letters G, O, N, and E can create Go, On, No, and Gone.
Each level begins with a board. The board is filled with empty boxes (where letters should be placed). Most of the words (rows of empty boxes) have the first letter filled in. I can select from a group of letters at the bottom of the board to create different words! There are several different levels, each level being more difficult than the previous level. If I get stumped, I can click on the help button. A letter will appear in one of the empty boxes, making it's easier to figure out a word. I try not to press the help button unless I’m really stumped because I can only press the help button so many times. It’s also a good strategy to wait until after I’ve built all the words that I can guess before pressing the help button so that I can get a letter placed onto a word that is more difficult to guess.
Circus Words is even more complex/challenging in that when I complete so many levels (gain so many tokens), I can redeem my tokens to unlock special levels. The game ends when I cannot create any more words (to fill the board). Circus Words can be played as a two-player game by simply seeing which player can reach the highest level.
