20 Words in 20 Seconds is a casual word game with a timed racing element. The player follows on-screen instructions to literally create and submit 20 words within 20 seconds. Their goal is to complete this task and earn the highest possible score. These are the only requirements.
The game displays a black-bordered word-submission field against a yellow-orange background. It instructs the player to create the first word. For example, it might tell the player to use the letter Q to create a word. It then continues to instruct the player in different ways for each new word. For example, it might tell the player to create any word that pops into their head or a word that begins or ends with one or more specific letters. It might also tell the player to create a word of a specific length.
20 Words in 20 Seconds requires the player to think on their feet quickly to react fast enough to the different instructions. The player also can't re-use words that they've already used to complete a previous instruction. For example, if the game previously asked the player to create a word with the letter O and they submitted the word NOT, they can't reuse that same word if the game next asks them to type any word.
