Cartoon Network's Ben 10: Omniball Battles is a fighting game that features pachinko-style battle mechanics. A player helps Ben fight his rival Kevin in omniball matches. Ben's main goal is to take Kevin's energy and cause damage.
The player must hit round, blue-and-red pellets using balls shot from a cannon. Every bounce of a ball on the pellets or other objects produces hit points. If a ball drops into a basket that moves at the bottom of the screen, the player receives it back without any type of penalty. If the ball falls below the screen, they lose one or more of the objects, which reduces the amount of chances they have to continue to cause Kevin damage.
Ben 10: Omniball Battles also features an ultimate alien armor battle mode in which the player can activate Ben's Omni-Kix by shooting balls at green pellets. The armor gives Ben a variety of abilities that allow him to cause damage faster, such as four arms that make it possible for him to shoot four balls at a time or greater power that generates higher hit points.
Of course, the game challenges the player by eventually activating Kevin's alien armor as well. Additionally, Ben receives a limited number of balls at the start of the match.
