Nickelodeon cooking contest features a contest done between your favorite characters from Nickelodeon. This includes Sponge Bob, the crab from the same show, Kimpossible, and more.
Once you click to begin the game, you have to choose what dish that you wish to make. This includes Krabby Patty, Kelp Shake, Doughnuts, and more. Each dish has a visual representation to go with it.
Once you pick a dish, you have to make it. So, for the Krabby Patty, for example, you do a series of minigames to see how well you make it. First, you have to pound the meat, which is a mini-game where you click the mouse over and over again until the patty looks the way you want. You'll know because a thumbs up appear. Then you have to fry it until a box fills up and turns green. You then flip it over and do it again. Next, you have to arrange a line on the screen to cut up each ingredient correctly.
You then have to get ingredients and put them in the right order. Then, judges tell you how well you did on one to ten systems. After that, you move on to a different dish. Each set of mini-games is a little different. In some, you have to pour in liquid up to a line but not over it. Others have you cutting up ingredients in a similar way as the first game, matching the straight lines correctly.
There are quite a few different mini-games and challenges for you to make it through in order to make each dish in the competition. Each one will be scored out of 10, depending on how many of the games you passed. If you fail at a mini-game, then you'll see the result in the finished product, like a meat patty looking over beaten.
