Penguin Diner is a fun game about Penny who seems to have got lost while walking in the Antarctic. While on her journey, Penny has no money to get food or supplies. The goal of the game is to prepare all of the meals in the diner in order to make money so that Penny can get home to her family.
There is quite a bit of reading to start the game, but it gives you background information about Penny and how she happened to make her trek and how she lost her money. It's also revealed that she works as a waitress. The diner has tables that are made of ice and small stools that are made of ice as well. The first thing to do in the game is to seat the customers. Each customer will have a menu item pop up above their head when they are ready to order. The waitress gets the food from the counter and delivers it to the customer. When the customer leaves, the money is collected from the table. As the levels progress, there are more customers that need to be seated at one time and multiple food orders that need to be served before customers become upset and leave.
