Hot Dog Bush is a game about cooking hot dogs. It uses former President George Bush as a character, but the game is about cooking hot dogs the right amount, adding the right ingredients, and making sure that you don't make mistakes.
If you cook too slowly, your customers will leave without paying. If you cook too fast, you could overcook the hot dog, and then you have to throw it away. Once you get into the game, you hit a button with the mouse for it to start, and then it shows an animation of George Bush in the intro scene.
After that, you choose whether to do a speed run, or whether to do a regular career mode. In career mode, you start out picking your location for where to make hot dogs. In the beginning, the only location to start is in the Bronx. Then you have to earn a certain amount of money each day as you progress and build up your career. You have ingredients underneath your cart, and when someone walks up to the cart, a thought bubble will appear over their head. In the first game, it will look like a simple hot dog.
You click on the hot dog ingredient area, and a hot dog will appear on the grill. It will slowly deepen in color. Then, you click on the bun ingredients, and a bun will appear on the counter. Once the hot dog finishes, it will get to a deeper color and will start to glow. Click on the hot dog and it will appear on the bun. Then, click and drag the hot dog to the customer. They will start out smiling but will start frowning after enough time. The trick is to get the hot dog to them before they leave.
