Take control of the bakery in Puppy Cupcake by making a variety of cupcakes and other treats. During the game, the player mixes all of the ingredients together one at a time before baking them. Once they come out of the oven, they can be decorated.
Each ingredient is on the table and labeled. An arrow shows which ingredients to add to the bowl first. Dragging the ingredients to the bowl is sometimes slow, but they pour into the bowl rather quickly after they are dragged from the table. The first levels of Puppy Cupcake feature basic ingredients and recipes. As the game progresses, there are more flavors that are added and more decorations available so that the cupcakes look a bit more unique. Every step of the mixing, pouring, and baking process is shown so that the cupcakes aren't burnt. Decorations can be cut out of dough to put on top of the cupcakes, and colored icing can be used as well. Some of the directions aren't clear, making it difficult to know how to roll the dough to make some of the decorations. Throughout the game, awards can be earned for mixing ingredients, baking, and decorating. There are three cupcakes to choose from with each one featuring a different design.
