The game starts off with the instructions. It's best to start off with selecting the two tiles that look the same on the left and right side. There is a gold tile in the middle. Once the two tiles were selected, they instantly locked together and faded away. I started with two tiles, now I have four. I have to use my judgement to see which tiles look identical and which don't match. Now that I matched those two, there are only two identical tiles left with a gold tile in between. Now that those tiles are gone, I can finally match the gold tiles. Each tile is worth some points. I cannot match the gold tiles until the very end. I can match any identical game tiles I want in whichever pattern I think is best, but if I do the wrong moves then I can't match any new tiles. The game gets harder and more difficult after each level.
So far, Gold Mahjong is very interactive and fun. It's free and didn't cost me a penny. It is a Chinese version of Solitare. It's more fun than the original solitaire as there are Chinese characters, patterns, colors, numbers, and symbols on each tile which makes the game more fun. I am matching tiles diagonally, horizontal, and more. There are many different ways and strategies to match the tiles to win, beat the level, and progress forward to the next level.
Overall Game Play
Overall the game is very fun and addicting in a good way. I can go at my own pace and have the opportunity to beat my own score from the previous level with the point system built in the game. Gold Mahjong is a very fun game and easy to play.
