Halloween Bubble is a bubble-shooting game with a Halloween theme set at night in a cemetery in autumn with metal fencing, ghosts, pumpkins and tombstones. It tasks a player with shooting eyeballs, jack-o-lanterns and the heads of monsters instead of traditional colored bubbles.
The player shoots these objects with the same types of projectiles positioned one at a time at the center of a pumpkin shooter at the bottom-center of the screen. They shoot a projectile at two or more objects that match it to remove those specific ones from the playfield. For example, they might shoot an eyeball at two or more other eyeballs. If they can't find a match, they can switch projectiles via a button near the bottom-left part of the field. That said, the game only permits six swaps, and then the button turns into a non-selectable stone.
Halloween Bubble rewards points every time the player makes a successful match. It displays the points at the top-center to the right of a gold star.
It's important to note that the game has a flashing light component that's supposed to represent lightning flashes. As a result, people with light sensitivity or visual issues or who have struggled with disco balls, strobes, and other types of flashing lights might have difficulty.
