Arrow Fest is a casual runner game that requires a player to collect as many arrows as possible to take out enemies on obstacle-course-style tracks in a variety of environments, including midair in the sky and along the sandy bottom of the ocean. The game then races the player's arrows along a separate multiplier track where the majority of the enemies, including guards and giants, wait for an attack. The arrow count determines the length of the final run and number of killed enemies.
The player comes across help and hindrance during the race. To collect the most arrows, they must pass through blue gates that add or multiply the number of arrows. They must also deal with red gates that subtract or divide the arrow count. These gates sometimes move back and forth on the track.
With the successful completion of a level, the player wins coins that they can use to buy additional arrows and increase their income earning potential. After so many levels, they win a gift box that allows them to upgrade their arrow style with a new skin. Eventually, once they reach certain levels in the game, they face off against boss enemies, including a green witch, a pirate captain and a white knight.
