Fishing 3 Online (v2) is a fun, entertainment puzzle game set in various water-based environments where people often find fish. A player's primary goal is to help a little orange fish survive being trapped in near-death situations by solving puzzles.
In the first levels, for example, the player must provide the fish with life-saving water. They need to dig a trench from a well to a drain pipe, and then turn the knob on an outdoor faucet to fill the trench so that water flows to the trapped fish. In one level, the underground area above the drain is filled with deadly, flowing magma that they must stop before they can transport water to the fish. In a different level, they need to turn the knob on a faucet hanging in the air above an area where the fish is stuck in an empty fishbowl that slides back and forth underneath.
The player collects stars along the way. The stars also serve as guides. For example, during trench-digging levels, the player can more accurately create a trench by simply digging in the directions of the stars buried underground.
It's important to note that the player can only progress to new levels if they have enough lives. At the beginning of the game, they receive three lives, which are depicted as red hearts at the top of the screen. To receive more hearts, they must watch online ads in this version of the game.
