Party Toons is a fun arcade game with battle-arena elements. A player, or up to four players, compete in minigame competitions in various battle arenas, including a circularly fenced lawn and a wooden dock surrounded by water.
The player starts by selecting a mode (1 Player, 2 Players, 3 Players or 4 Players). If they pick a one-player game, they compete against the game's AI. If they want to only play a specific number of AI players, they can use the trashcan icon to delete unwanted opponents. Once they've made their selection, they can upgrade their character with several basic free hats and skins. As they progress through the game, they earn gold coins to purchase new ones. They can also win money by watching advertisements.
Party Toons presents a wide range of minigames. The player might need to direct their avatar to pop balloons without accidentally kicking a bomb, select the correct symbol on a TV faster than their opponents, fly through gaps in green vertical pipes, hit a ping pong ball into nets during soccer-like sports games, or catch as many strawberries falling from the sky as possible in a bowl while running around on a dock.
With each minigame, the player's primary goal is to earn as many points as possible. When they do well, their avatar briefly receives a gold crown in addition to coins.
