2048 Unicorn is a tile-merging game based on the popular 2048 game. It features colorful speckled unicorn heads instead of numbered color tiles. The player's goal is to merge the heads by type in pairs on a 4x4 board to create new unicorns.
The player wins the game by merging unicorns until they create the last possible one. The game allows them to use a button marked with the head of a unicorn and the number 2048 to label each unicorn head with numbers based on type. The player then merges the types until they create a 2048 unicorn head.
2048 Unicorn requires the player to slide the heads up, down and side to side to complete the merges. As a result, the player must take the time to consider where a head might slide when they perform an action. Heads can only slide into empty spaces or merge with identical ones. If the player makes the wrong directional decision, they might slide a head into a position that blocks another one from a merge.
The game provides the player with an undo button marked with a back arrow. That said, they must watch advertisements to use it. They must also watch an ad if they want to remove the number labels and strictly play only with the unicorn head images.
