Solitaire Deluxe Edition is a Klondike Solitaire game that offers one-card and three-card draw options. The player must move all cards on a tabletop from seven columns of layered face-down and face-up cards to four empty spaces.
The player starts by selecting a one-card easy or medium difficulty level game or a three-card hard difficulty level one. They can change the card artwork or the tabletop color and type if they watch an advertisement. After they make their selections, the game presents them with seven columns at the center of the table, the four areas or foundation marked with suit icons near the upper right, and a draw pile near the upper left.
Solitaire Deluxe Edition requires the player to reposition the cards in the columns to flip and reveal the face-down ones and create builds of ascending (A to K) order cards based on suit and color in the foundation. They can only reposition the cards in the columns, essentially building new columns, using a descending (K to 2), non-suit, alternating color order.
If the player can't find cards they need in the columns to create builds, they use the draw pile. If they run out of draw pile cards, they can select the empty draw pile space to gain access to the remaining cards.
