Dino Run is an arcade-style, platform game that features the pixelated Lonely T-Rex that appears on the Google Chrome "No Internet" or "Unable to connect to the internet" page as the main character. It's similar to the game created by Google for play during outages. The player's primary goal is to help this dinosaur bypass obstacles, such as saguaro cacti and birds flying through the air or low to the ground, while it runs from left to right on sand across a desert. The game has a very basic gray-and-white design with pixelated objects and classic arcade sounds. The player must use keys on a keyboard to help the dinosaur perform specific movements. They earn point as they progress across the screen and bonus points for certain actions. The game displays the score at the top right corner of the screen. The player loses the game any time the dinosaur runs or bumps into or jumps on an obstacle. To win, the player must simply continue to run and build up a high score.
