Under the Sea Solitaire is an underwater-themed Klondike version of online Solitaire that displays the game with water bubbling behind it rather than a classic green tabletop. It features the standard 28-card arrangement of face-up and face-down cards displayed in seven horizontal columns at the center of the screen and a draw pile and build piles for each suit along the top. The player must sort cards between columns and from the draw pile to create piles for each suit (i.e. hearts, spades, diamonds and clubs) in the build piles starting with Aces as foundation cards. Above the game area, the player can track their time, score and number of moves. Each successful move of a card earns the player points in the Score section. To win the game, the player must complete all the build piles.
How to play:
Choose an easy one-card or difficult three-card draw option. Reposition column cards in reverse sequence (i.e. K, Q, J, 10...) to flip face-down cards or select draw cards until an Ace appears, and then move it to its build area to start a sequential (i.e. A, 2, 3...) pile. Repeat with other cards.
Controls:
Mouse: Click and drag or click once a card on a column or the draw pile to reposition it to a reverse sequence vertical column. Click any face-down card to reveal it. To show a move when having difficulty, click the hint button marked with a lightbulb. To undo only the last move, click the button marked with a back arrow.
Mobile: Tap, hold and drag or tap once a card on a column or draw pile with the tip of a finger or stylus to reposition it. Tap a face-down card once to reveal it. Tap the hint button or undo button, as needed.
