Zooma Marble Blast is a bubble-shooting puzzle game with an Ancient Egypt theme. It uses carved, colorful, shiny marbles instead of bubbles and pinball shooting mechanics.
Instead of the marbles hanging in the air above the shooter, the baubles roll along a winding track that wraps around a central shooter shaped like an ancient Egyptian statue. In the first level (I), for example, it's a black cat similar to the statues of the goddess Bastet. It holds projectile marbles between its paws and wrapped in its curled tail. The player's goal is to stop the marbles from rolling through a tunnel dug into a wall to a glowing, round portal held by a scarab at the end of the track. They blast away the connected line by shooting a projectile at two or more matching marbles.
After a projectile destroys marbles, the movement of the remaining marbles on the track stops. The player continues shooting to prevent the marbles from rolling backwards through the resulting gap, reconnecting to form a line, and progressing forward again.
Zooma Marble Blast features powerup marbles that allow the player to destroy the connected marbles faster. These special marbles appear randomly in the line. The objects sometimes temporarily transfer power to one or more projectiles.
When the player completes a level, they receive points, and the next level unlocks. Each new level contains longer lines of marbles and more complex winding tracks.
