The Zumba Challenge Game is a fun, interactive game that will have us get our heart rates up and burn calories in no time. The game combines dance moves from the fitness program with visuals of different difficulty levels to help us stay motivated. There are three different levels of play for all fitness types, so all of us can participate!
- Beginner - At this level, more than half the moves will require jumping (no knee raises). We'll be making one move at a time, which usually starts on the floor and ends standing. This includes squats and lunges without weights or stepping motions. If there is any side-to-side movement, it's no more than a few inches.
- Advanced Beginner - At this level, we'll be doing two moves simultaneously, which usually start standing and end on the floor. We can expect movements such as squats to pulses or grapevines. There will also be side to side movement in half circles, with both feet staying firmly planted on the ground for most of the move (meaning no jumping).
- Intermediate/Advanced - These levels will have all types of twists and turns that we dancers are well aware of! There is still some room for modifications, but mostly these routines require dance skills like traveling steps and turning quickly from one direction to another while following complex arm patterns.
Instructions: We are required to move our cursors over the different levels of difficulty and click on them to start playing. To complete a level, we must successfully perform all Zumba moves in that level before reaching an arrow pointing up or down. We can play as many times as we like!
