Toilet Race is a hypercasual, racing logic-puzzle game. It challenges a player to use deductive reasoning, hand-eye coordination, perfect timing and precision drawing skills to help characters who desperately need to use toilets.
In most levels, the player helps at least one boy wearing blue-and-white clothes and one girl wearing red-and-white clothes. The game sometimes increases the number of characters and toilets. The player draws a line on the screen from each character to a color-matched toilet.
The game presents the player with several obstacles. The player's primary goal is to prevent the two characters from running into each other and objects, such as boulders and walls. That said, in some levels, the player must also prevent the characters from running too close to monsters, such as the drooling, crown-wearing Blue from Rainbow Friends. The game sometimes challenges the player with cars on a busy highway or hydraulic doors. With the latter, the player must draw precise lines to direct the characters to run through an area that has levers to open the doors.
Toilet Race features a hint button at the top-right corner that places color-coded dashed lines on the screen to show the exact paths for each character. It also offers a restart button near the bottom-left corner and a skip button near the bottom-right corner.
