Way to Home is a hypercasual, logic-puzzle game with block world, frontier life and racing elements. It requires the player to tap into a variety of abilities and skills to help one or more characters reach home in the wilderness.
The player must manually draw a walking path for each character from the character's current position to their home. In some cases, they might need to draw a path for a helper character placed in the scene to perform some other task, such as remove an obstacle. Common obstacles include other characters, stones, trees, fences and wooden crates. The player needs precision drawing and excellent timing to make certain that the main character or characters never walk into an object or another person.
Way to Home has 48 increasingly difficult levels. It also challenges the player to win three stars per level. The player can lose one or more stars if they fail to draw a path or paths quickly and efficiently. That said, they never need to draw a line to the front of a house. If the player fails, they can also retry the same level over and over until they get it right for free.
