Pixel Mini Golf is an endless sports game that brings the popular game of mini golf, or putt-putt, into players' homes via a pixelated graphics format. Each level of the game presents a player with a two-tone green checkered mini golf course within a white frame. The course features a hole and a waving red flag on a white flagpole.
The player must make a perfect shot the first time every time to proceed to the next level. Additionally, they often need to collect floating coins. The game places the coins at the upper-left corner of the screen. That said, they can complete a level without collecting every coin. On some courses, the game also uses deadly lava and slowdown sand traps, inclined landscapes, rotating or stationary paddles, sliding spiked objects, spike strips, teleportation space portals and other obstacles to increase the difficulty of the course.
Pixel Mini Golf celebrates every win with a burst of confetti. When the player loses, they can continue if they have enough coins saved to pay for the option. If the player doesn't have enough coins, they can still keep the coins they collected in the failed level.
