Solitaire Mahjong Farm 2 is the second installment in the popular tile-matching series of the same name. The player once again pairs identical tiles to remove layers of tiles from playfields. This new game offers plenty of fun ways to relax on the farm with soothing-yet-challenging Mahjong action!
The game features twenty locations in its Chapters mode (Harvest, Farmyard, Country, Breeze, Garden, Orchard, Meadow, Barn, Vista, Fields, Produce, Retreat, Crops, Market, Pasture, Windmills, Haystack, Paddock, Sunflowers and Beehive). Each chapter contains 10 patterns. The player must solve these challenges to unlock each new puzzle and chapter and reveal more options in the Quick Play mode.
Although a level within a chapter has a timer, the game makes it easy for the player to quickly match wood tiles that feature farm-related imagery (i.e., pets, livestock, flowers, fruits and vegetables, other foodstuffs, sheds, tools and weather conditions). Every tile match gives the player 100 points. They can review the total number at any time in the upper-right area. The top of the screen also reveals the possible number of matches, tiles already matched and the name of a pattern.
Solitaire Mahjong Farm 2 only allows the player to match identical uncovered tiles with at least one free side. The game makes selections faster with glowing accents. For example, when the player selects the first tile of a pair, it glows green. When the player uses the hint button, a pair of tiles glow blue. The player can also undo a previous move, activate all open tiles, and shuffle the tiles to reveal hidden matches.
